Digital mailbox
You receive a digital mailbox with a postal address in your name. Forward your postal mail there using a mail forwarding service or send your paper documents directly.

Online scanning service
Upon receipt, we immediately scan all letters and paper documents, and within a few hours you receive searchable PDF documents.
After scanning, we securely store your physical letters and paper documents for you. Upon request, we will send you important original documents worldwide; everything else can be destroyed free of charge in compliance with data protection regulations.

Digital document management
All scanned letters and documents are securely stored in our cloud. There you can easily view, organize, and share them with other people.

How does Escanear work?
It’s simple: You receive a digital mailbox from us with an address in your name. At this address, we receive your postal mail and automatically scan the contents. Within a few hours, you receive your postal mail digitally in the form of searchable PDF files.
How does my postal mail get to Escanear?
Your postal mail can be automatically forwarded to us using a mail forwarding service. Alternatively, you can also provide the senders of your postal mail with the address of your mailbox with us, or send your letters collectively in an envelope to your mailbox.
What types of mail can Escanear scan?
We digitize all letters delivered to us, regardless of who the sender is, what shipping method was used, or what size the item is.
How many mail items can I digitize with Escanear?
All our plans include scanning of unlimited letters—a true flat rate.
For how many people can I digitize postal mail?
Depending on the plan selected, scanning postal mail for one or more people is included. With all plans, you can add additional people individually; you do not need to open a separate account for additional recipients.
What is the contract term for Escanear's service?
At Escanear, there is no long-term contract commitment. You can cancel or pause our service at any time.
Can I test Escanear for free?
Yes, you can set up an account with us free of charge and without obligation at any time. There we will provide you with some sample letters and paper documents with which you can try out all the features of our service for an unlimited period. When you are ready to start Escanear for your own postal mail, you can set up a digital mailbox in your account at any time.
How can I have my paper documents (e.g., in file folders) scanned?
Scanning paper documents works the same way as with postal mail. Simply send us your documents by mail in a secure package. Upon receipt, we review the contents and scan them upon request. Here too, you receive searchable PDF files from us after a short time—exactly one for each paper document.
